I would suggest you read up on the issue a bit more. Disney will actually pay less in taxes (and individual taxpayers will have to pay more) if Reedy Creek is dissolved.
One thing about the left that’s always interesting is parroting. Someone on Twitter or Reddit uses a phrase in a talking point - in this case Reedy Creek - and that talking point is constantly used almost verbatim over and over and over across multiple platforms. You can literally create a montage

That’s the name of the district. It’s not a “buzz word.”

Please read this article so you know what you’re talking about. You’re completely wrong about everything.

Still not going to root for a corporation. Forgive me if I don’t trust an entity whose sole existence is to make as much money as possible. Disney can do it’s great anti-bigotry work without special treatment.
DP. You realize this will hurt average middle class Floridians, right?
Why?!? Will Disney relocate to Chicago? Maybe Mayor Lightfoot can make a pitch.
The appeal of Orlando and So. CA is weather. Why on EARTH move to a climate that forces shutdowns for at least 1/2 year due to weather?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I’m rooting against Disney in this one. He is a man who came from immigrant Italian background, came from middle class parents, went to Yale and Harvard law on his own merit. Served our country in the Navy in Iraq. He is far more intelligent and grounded than most other governors, and he has a true appreciation for traditional family values and respects parents’ right to have a say in their children’s education. I for one was shocked when all of a sudden the short “Out”, about a young boy coming out to his family, suddenly popped up on my Disney+. Without warning. Without consent. Luckily my children are not old enough to use the platform on their own, but just think of how many children are given access to the content by their parents under the assumption that the content is developmentally appropriate and wholesome. I think Disney has gone so woke, it’s making Walt Disney turning in his grave. DiSantis has a backbone and common sense. I would be proud to call him my president. I really don’t see what the problem is.

Agree. He is refreshingly different and in a good way.
