Yes. It's a marvel to see a country across the ocean threatening an agreement two OTHER countries have made voluntarily and to a mutual benefit.
Well, if one of those two countries repeatedly bullies neighbouring countries... occupies their territories, kills their citizens, keeps whole nations afraid... Should the rest of the world just watch and mumble about 'mutual benefit'? Sheesh.
Sorry but no one bullies other countries like the US. Look in the mirroirs
I am Ukrainian. The U.S. have never bullied my country. They have been supporting us, big time, for which we are deeply and truly grateful.
Yet your country insists on being able to collect gas transit fees as if it's an entitlement, and throws a tantrum when this line of revenue is in question. Why is that?
DP - they allow other countries to run pipes through their country, why shouldn't they be entitled to fees for that?
They are entitled to do that. But if the other country finds an alternative (that would leave them without income), they are not entitled to fight that option. That's the entire reason Ukraine is fighting Nord Stream. Not for security or growing influence or whatever. Plain and simple, if Russia doesn't have to go through Ukraine to ship gas to Germany, Ukraine loses transit revenue. And they hate this idea, and they are fighting it under political pretexts.
It's like Fuji apple staging a coup because you decided to switch to Granny Smith.
What? Why not? Of course they can fight that.
Is this some absurd conspiracy theory that Ukraine is trying to start a war with Russia so they can keep gas fees? That sounds like straight up Russian propaganda, and it's not going to fall anyone here.

By sending military supplies to Ukraine, by deploying troops to Eastern Europe, by preparing sanctions, the Biden administration has orchestrated a set of signals that even Mr. Putin can’t misinterpret.
Whatever the Russian leader is thinking, he hoped to find the U.S. and its allies weak and divided. This is proving a bad bet so far.”

And somehow Ukraine got Russia to move troops and weapons closer to the Ukrainian border? Diabolical! I wonder if Russia even knows?!

1) I favor a violent Russian Military invasion of tiny Ukraine, or
2) I favor peace.
Pick one.
There are no other angles here.
No, it is not complicated. It really isn’t. You want WAR or you don’t.
1. And I further support Russian involvement in the balkans. Russia is a great power.
2. China should take Taiwan
3. Índia should take Kashmir and smash Pakistan
4. Israel should send the Palestinians to Saudi Arabia or Jordan and take over the entire West Bank and Gaza Strip
5. Us, uk, Australia, Canada and NZ should have a free trade and free movement alliance.
I take it you play a lot of video games. Millions of people die in your scenario and thermonuclear war breaks out.
