"top European academies" is NOT our p2p MLS club, where there's a 0% chance to play pro. Biobanding should be awarded only to talented players in a True Academy team who are short for their age, not to mediocre players who cannot play in their age group in a P2P club.

As I said in an Academy setting biobanding is considered a bad thing. Its a last ditch effort by late developers to stay relevant. However if puberty hits and they suddenly grow 8 inches Acadamies will play that player up ASAP so they can be considered for playing pro. This is the differnce. In a non Academy setting if a player is able to play down they'll stay playing down so they can dominate and look amazing for Scouts that are looking for players that graduate a specific year.

USYS is already the "also ran" league for clubs. Youth Soccer is a people business a bunch of PE Analysts will drive anything they touch into the dirt trying to save costs.
Im sure ECNL is hoping that this happens because it will force clubs into their B and C tiers.
