They have been the most impressive players as a group. My guess is at least 10 will make Blue because they are deserving and the coaches know them. The Pride no could be 12 but we’ll see. Just want the best team. Good luck to everyone.
So is Capital that good at recruiting or do they just get the best players? If these girls didn’t go to Capital, would they still go to the same or similar schools? Seems like the girls are already great players by the time they get to Cap.
Where are you setting the over under? 10, 11, or 12? Sounds like 11.Anonymous wrote:This is so awful but I have been through this before so here is what I think will happen: many of the Pride girls have been doing workouts and most of the Capital clinics. quote]So the team will be down for this year as a good or better player won't be allowed a roster spot? It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let'see if it works out for them.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Who’s ready for Monday? It’s like free agent frenzy. Cap blue will be interesting.
There really is no suspense for Capital. They already know who the teams will be but for a few spots.

Wrong. They might know a few players who’ve stood out at a clinic but they don’t know all the girls. I think those numbers will depend on who is at tryouts. They take 44 girls out of the 100 or so that tryout. Pride may not get that much either. They may only get 6-7

Would have expected Pride to move ahead of Mass Elite who does not seem to play anyone.
Haha you could say that about Pride as well.
Pride beat Eagle Stix.
And also lost/tied to teams below them in the rankings (monster, prime time and skywalkers).
To settle this, I suggest we develop a commuter model to calculate team ratings and rankings. The model would compute an overall average performance rating for teams based on how teams perform against other teams and the strength of a team’s opponents. A team’s overall rating could be used to understand the relative competitiveness of two different teams, and a team's overall rating would then determines a team's ranking.
