Everybody wanted Iran’s quest for nukes to be halted. Finally we got somebody in charge who acts instead of just dithering.

Anonymous wrote:Has anyone thought through this? Now what?! One really offensive thing to come out of this is that we are funding the Rusian war with Ukraine..while fighting Iran. Republicans own this war. And is to be blamed for all the Americans who died in vain for a war that clearly wasn't thought through. Why can't they govern? All the goodwill we had around the world, it's all gone. Its disgusting,

However, just because we have the ability to bomb the shit out of a country does not mean the US will achieve anything. Without a land war, there's no turning around any country, and all this destruction just sows hatred from Iran - rightfully so I believe - against the West, specifically US.
That will be generational and that is the biggest net negative that is the only result of this debacle. Everything pales in the face of potential complications for years to come - always looking behind our backs and always wondering what the next prob we will have from Iran will be..
Short-term, everyone suffers for who knows how long. Long-term, the US suffers for who knows how long.
This is the ultimate hot mess. A foreign policy disaster that will haunt not just us but Europe as well. But I do not blame Iran. If it were me, I'd vow revenge against people who bombed my country and killed innocent kids nonchalantly. We deserve whatever retribution is coming our way unfortunately..

There not a need for a land war. Most Iranians want the IRGC out and hopefully elections come. The fact that they’re parading a card board cut out of the supreme leader speaks volumes.
No this is total propaganda. The Iranians are rallying around their country. As the US bombs their cities they are having huge rallies singing their national anthem a few blocks away. The Iranian hate the US more vs IRGC. You neocons pro Israeli just want to hear things that affirm your world views.
Israel has said they want the total destruction of Iran. The US is doing this for the Israelis. Thousands have been killed in Iran for Israel by the US. We the US are the bad guys.
