Actually they created the city/new zip code/ name when the new convention center opened. The county wanted the location "north bethesda", not rockville.

However I seem to recall that the residents (and likely the realtors $$) created "north" Potomac.

Actually I live in the 20878 zip code and our mail comes to us addressed Rockville or Gaithersburg but the little "codes" printed by the post office to forward our mail when we moved actually read "north potomac" - it depends on your 4 digit extension after the actual zip. Check the post office or phone book. Both cities really exist.

Yes, they do really exist now in 2008...but depending on how long one has lived here...people lived in these areas (20878 included) and they were called Rockville and Gaithersburg.

Mom's who only want to discuss what their kids are doing, when I want to hear what they're thinking and reading. I want to talk adult stuff - am I the only one?

Moms who use the word "Yuck" to describe someones parenting method.

Moms who think their way is the only way.

Moms who say they are open minded, yet only open to what is in their mind.

Moms who pick on other moms for spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors.

Moms who have their heads so far up their butts, they can't see what is really going on around them.

Moms who question my method of raising MY children. They are loved, fed, nurtured, interacted with, and happy.

Yuck!

Moms who are judgemental about other's personal choices. YUCK!

Nothing worse than seeing some little child, old enough to walk and talk, breastfeeding! Too funny!

Then don't look.

I nursed my later than most, but stopped doing it in public at a certain age, but to each there own.

thanks for giving our society a healthier brighter child. they're just jealous.

Now that would make an interesting--joint--thread...are the kids who are getting into K at the "big 3" products of BFing until they could walk and talk??

Ha! Not the kids I know in my neighborhood - that's for sure!
