They lost their best player to SYC MLS next. The new recruits for this year aren't enough to make them any better. and the year behind them are even worse. The bright side is they shouldn't lose anymore players from that team because they aren't good enough to make any better teams.

The team lost a very good player but the new players make the team better overall. Losing one and adding a few makes the team better as a whole. The season is young and yet to see how this team competes against the traditionally stronger teams like Arlington (close 1-2 loss), VDA, Richmond etc. Predicting to finish in the top half of the table guaranteed!

Agree with "sub based on time not game flow" but also in the U10 - u12 age groups. I will go so far to say as players got into a rhythm and connected passes, they were pulled off the field. This coaching decision occurred throughout two seasons many times....its as if the coach didnt want the girls to experience too many wins...
Favorites never left the field no matter how they were playing.
IF you scored and were not a favorite, you were pulled off the field after scoring. That occurred three times with my DD.
Agree again with PP, ""no thought into tactics and who might be having a great day or off day" nor, I might add, how the momentum was swinging in the game.
in one tourny, the coach must have been in a good mood and he coached to win and we did so he was capable of coaching well.

This is a very good description of issue. The coaching is bad in games. On the clock make subs that are predetermined, no thought into tactics and who might be having a great day or off day. Attacking players that dribble and hold the ball, then lose the ball rewarded with never coming off the field.

Remember ECNL team not only requires player's skill, also requires player parent's pocket.

I'm sure they are good players, but there is a big difference between NCSL and ECNL level of play, especially after U!2, especially the bottom divisions of NCSL. BRYC has it's issues, but I doubt that will be the solution. The Bridge players I know don't want to pay the money, travel or commit that much time to one sport. If they did and tried out for an ECNL team and could make a difference, BRYC would take them, they need them. The mythical "the answer is the Bridge players", just never makes sense.

The problem is the same as in any sports where the rosters are chosen rather than a preselected player pool (meaning hs districting). every front office (ED and TD) and coaching staff and philosophy must constantly evolve. If the same staff is in place without evolving they are doomed run their course. At that point a totally new set of fresh faces is the only answer to rebuilding the program. This is what we see at BRYC.

I'm sure they are good players, but there is a big difference between NCSL and ECNL level of play, especially after U!2, especially the bottom divisions of NCSL. I dont think it was meant to be racist as much as him having two guys who kiss his ass. Not every word spoken is directed at the black race. Last I checked CJ is white and those names were directed at him and AF. But Im sure some would find it racist if the PP would have called them the 3 stooges instead.
