They lost their best player to SYC MLS next. The new recruits for this year aren't enough to make them any better. and the year behind them are even worse. The bright side is they shouldn't lose anymore players from that team because they aren't good enough to make any better teams.

Is it a talent depth or development issue or both. Who knows but parents with talented kids aren’t taking the chance to even find out and who can blame them. At the older ages, I’ve noticed that they have a few good players but the drop off in talent is noticeable and they seem to sub based on time not game flow. Subs come in and any close game gets away from them. A lot of breakdowns positionally leads to them giving away a lot of cheap goals. Lack of elite clinical forwards means goals are hard to come by. This all results in a lot of lopsided losses.

They need to try and pull some of the top kids from the two bridge teams into the 07B and 08B (there are several 08s playing up on 07) pools Both 07B bridge teams each have 2-3 players who would be impact players on the ECNL team.

LOL? It's okay, you're afraid of having your DC supplanted and your DC suddenly needing to show up at Bridge tryouts next spring.
Remember ECNL team not only requires player's skill, also requires player parent's pocket.
I'm sure they are good players, but there is a big difference between NCSL and ECNL level of play, especially after U!2, especially the bottom divisions of NCSL. BRYC has it's issues, but I doubt that will be the solution. The Bridge players I know don't want to pay the money, travel or commit that much time to one sport. If they did and tried out for an ECNL team and could make a difference, BRYC would take them, they need them. The mythical "the answer is the Bridge players", just never makes sense.

Who would do that job?

Everyone cool with BRYC hater Dad calling an African American coach a "step and fetch it"? Maybe the racist comments negate his opinion. They certainly do for me.
+1
I dont think it was meant to be racist as much as him having two guys who kiss his ass. Not every word spoken is directed at the black race. Last I checked CJ is white and those names were directed at him and AF. But Im sure some would find it racist if the PP would have called them the 3 stooges instead. For god sake get your club in order BRYC
When the words used are "Stepin Fetchit," that's precisely where those words are directed.
Nice try, though.
I believe in the 1930s stepin fetchit was a black actor who was embraced by whites and disliked by blacks in America. The hatred and dislike came from his own race. which eliminates the racism claim . Maybe the PP was referring to the actor playing the famous role as the laziest man in America. Which could be used to describe any coach at BRYC boys or girls.
Im a 71 yr old white man from Queens NY. I have a little more understanding than a lot of younger people as to the context of many topics that younger generations seem to understand.
