She posted an apology on instagram and I think it's quite well done. Maybe its just damage control and maybe its too little too late for some people, but i'm not sure what she could have said better

I was both mean girled and a mean girl in hs. I'm very glad social media didn't exist, feel shame about my behavior, and am glad i've grown since then. Doesn't excuse my behavior then, but we should all be allowed to grow

I’m the same age as Tiegan and was quite online at the time, I remember the treatment of Stodden and others at the time. I agree with the article that this was a big part of internet culture at the time. It doesn’t make it right but I think we will need to continue to deal with this and how we react to it.

Some of you commenting in here about Tiegen’s looks don’t have much standing to be criticizing her.

I’m surprised she was this mean and that sucks. I think less of her for it. She caught my attention on twitter for her witty comebacks of people criticizing her and for the fact that she told her fans not to pile in attacking people on her behalf. I thought that was kind. But it seems like she is not kind.

Don’t care that much about this but I am obsessed with Bo Burnham right now and we are going to need to find a way to forgive YOUNG PEOPLE (not necessarily Teigen) for saying dumb stuff on the internet 10 years ago. People are growing up online now saying things that 10 years from now will be a problem, and we need to be understanding of what a wilder Wild West it was 10 years ago. Get your facts straight. Courtney no longer identifies as "she" and is non binary. No matter what you think of Courtney, Chrissy doesn't get a pass for telling her to kill herself.
