Yes, since the US now stands alone with Russia (having eroded decades of goodwill with our allies in a mere 5 weeks), I would say that unless GOP start screaming to get Trump/Vance out of office this weekend, they are a indeed death cult.

Today I read (People) that a cargo plane in NJ “burst into flames” and made an emergency landing after hitting a bird. I can’t remember the source, but, yesterday, I read that major cuts to the program responsible for managing birds and other wildlife at US airports are now in place.

I could write more about RFK jr heading up HHS, but I’m sure it’s already been covered. It’s like Musk, Trump, and Vance are playing video games with our real lives. They and their supporters seem to be enjoying the violence.

Where did we go wrong? How did a death cult manage to take so many votes away from us? I mean, yes, these are tough times, and Trumpism and Covid and social media have made everyone a little crazy. But still, are we Democrats so bad? Why would all the swing voters go for Trump? Why would minorities start shifting rightward?

Hopefully the Republican death cult will turn off the voters somehow and send them back our way. I just wish there was something we could do to speed that process along.

The Democrats really need to put forward a positive vision for American society. Of course, the fact that Kamala is a woman and a Californian did not help at all.
