The story keeps changing. Sometimes defense attorney’s float multiple versions to see which gets the most support.
How has it changed.
The story has been corroborated.
Initially it was an argument.
Now that it came out French was nonverbal, it’s that the cop was feeding the child and was attacked without warning.
I suspect that it will change again when the footage is released.

Sadly true. What if there had been another cop in Costco that day who didn’t know the other guy was an off-duty cop? He looked like any other mass shooter, gunning down men and women. There would have been a blood bath.
What if...what it...blah blah blah
What if it was an active shooter and an off duty police officer took out the shooter?
You people are so brainwashed by the media. You sit around waiting for a video that appears to validate your hatred for police officers. And then you pretend to know what you're talking about despite having zero training or experience. Meanwhile, thousands of police officers deescalate potentially violent situations and choose not to shoot when faced with a potentially deadly threat.
What media dum-dum?
I guess you got your information from smoke signals and not the media.
Guess what, some people are able to think critically and understand that perception of reality and actual reality are two different things. The media consistently promotes dramatic stories because they sell. People click on emotional stories, which means $$. Nobody wants to watch dozens of police videos of cops deescalating situations.
It's probably hard for a coward like you to believe, but some people might actually know more about this subject than you. You know, like real life experience.

of civilians.

To hell with the shooter and his DCscUM fanboys.

Costco has an intense interest at odds with the typical LEO trash mindset of hiding and exonerating inexcusable escalation. The fail-cop killed one nonverbal person and put his parents in the ICU. Why can some of you smears not empathize with the parents in the hospital? It’s a parenting board, twits.
The officer is a parent too.
A parent who is probably home with his child, instead of a parent who is in the ICU with his child in the morgue.
A parent who will probably get an all-expenses paid vacation while the LAPD "investigates".

Maybe. Or he suffered a head injury from a guy with disabilities who couldn't control himself, and lost it and shot 3 people. Either way, if people didn't have such easy access to guns, we wouldn't have an entire newspaper page dedicated to killings at California Costcos.
