Yeah. No. I don't live in Arlington. And I have four happy successful kids. Two in college. Two college grads with great jobs. I have a high school senior still at home. I would sell everything I own and move to the middle of nowhere before putting my kid in that environment.

A plumber can do quite well, actually. The average plumber's salary in Fairfax, VA is $82, 254. My STEM Ph.D. husband has said he should have gone into construction/home repair.
