Because of her admitted, highly restrictive/obsessive/neurotic diet? Because everything about what she is saying compared to that admitted diet screams deflect, deflect, deflect! Weight loss doesn't make sense unless she's got a caloric deficit. She's saying she's eating more than ever, not that the medicine is causing appetite loss.

I have the Today show on this morning and they have Giuliana on now with Hoda and Kathy. They brought up her weight and she did not blame her thinness on the cancer medication just now. She just said it was hurtful that she posts on Instagram a video of her and her son having fun and 9 out of the 10 comments are about her weight and that even if someone has an eating disorder, posting "Eat a hamburger" isn't helpful or that when she's conducting an interview on the red carpet, everyone is focusing on her weight instead of on the content. We'll see if she blames the cancer meds when they get back from the break, but she did actually acknowledge some people commenting could be doing so out of concern.

Whatever. It wS so long ago when she posted that, and it was probably exaggerated. And like Pp said I don't think it looks THAT bad. I think everyone in front of a gamera eats like that but she is s tall and gangly ( most of these other stars are shrimps) so it looks more dramatic.

I disagree. Even standing next to super thin actresses and starlets on the red carpet, Giuliana looks emaciated.

It does seem unfair doesn't it? Giuliana has actually had cancer and is taking meds to prevent recurrence. Angelina has had surgery in order to prevent the disease from occurring. I feel for them both but they are NOT in the same situation.

Probably because Jolie isn't posting all over social media. That said, just googling Angelina Jolie anorexia brought up a ton of speculative articles about her weight.

Exactly. It doesn't make sense. She looks thinner now than she did then and thinner now than she did even a year or two ago.

Gah. She said that she is STILL taking meds to prevent recurrence. And she is attributing her weight loss to those meds.

It seems that her weight has gone down very low since her diagnosis, surgery, treatment....so, yeah, there seems to be some sort of correlation between cancer treatment and weight loss in her case.

More like there's a correlation between working out on an empty stomach?.drinking cayenne water, sipping kombucha when you're hungry and passing your plate of pasta around the table for other people to eat first and weight loss.

Weight loss is not associated with what is probably tamoxifen. You only take it for 3-5 years after breast cancer. What is her excuse going to be next year?

My oncologist said they're now suggesting you take tamoxifen for 10 years.

I think people are saying that the surrogate is from Denver because that is where the fertility clinic they used is located. I remember seeing that on their show.

She's a French national who moved to the U.S. in her 20s. She met and married an American in Colorado and now lives there. I don't think she has any connection to Bethesda.
