PP here. I say if you don't know me, call me ma'am-please! I think it's usually intended respectfully. It is not offensive to me, after all, that's what I am--a grown woman. It perplexes me why grown women would want to be called Miss. Who do they think they are kidding?

I hate LOL too but why can't it just be "HAHAHA!"? Why does it need the "BWA" up front? It's ugly. It's like someone is vomiting.
