WHAT is SGF? I am not sure, but looking for IVF coverage under federal plans. Also, some states require that IVF treatment be included like TEXAS and Illinois, but I did not see it in the local plans.

Please help, if anyone has information.

I spoke w SGF today and they are still upholding the negotiated rate for Aetna patients. FET would be $1850. I asked if there’s any indication if this would change for 2018 and was told that they have not heard anything. SGF said that they are typically informed a few months prior to any changes in benefits.

Has anyone with FEHBP Aetna HMO asked SGF if they expect to continue the contract discount next year? (I realize they can't 100% guarantee). I haven't gotten around to asking yet.

None of the federal plans offers IVF coverage so if your spouse has insurance that will cover it, I would look into that. Otherwise, I know SGF honored the Aetna negotiated rate this year even though the Federal Aetna plan no longer covers some of the cost. Perhaps they will continue that next year so give SG a call.

yes I do it's called standard or basic something like that. what should it have been?

I have Aetna Basic and I paid $1850, not including any PGS testing, ICSI, and meds.

I have 2 insurances one Aetna and one Kaiser, I think they did not take Aetna into consideration, I will figure it out with them.

Wow. Thanks for this info! Is the Aetna contract good for any level of Aetna insurance?

Is this true? Because I have Aetna open access basic and just did a FET with no contract discount.

Does anyone know if Kaiser will be covering IUI at 50% still in the 2018 year?
