Well I think people would prefer the facts to win the day. So with that one correction (thank you) the stats are these — and still paint a very clear picture:
NW 2026
Skywalkers 3
M&D 0
Capital 1
Hero's 0
UNC 2025
Skywalkers 1
M&D 2
Capital 1
Hero's 0
BC 2024
Skywalkers 0
M&D 2
Capital 1
Hero's 0
NW 2023
Skywalkers 1
M&D 0
Capital 0
Hero's 0
UNC 2022
Skywalkers 7
M&D 1
Capital 1
Hero’s 1
Total number of players on national championship teams over past 5 years:
Skywalkers = 12
M&D = 5
Capital = 4
Hero's = 1
Also worth noting: you originally misled readers to believe it was just four years of analysis (it was five) and that the one correction noted was a fly-in player who was not from the Baltimore area.
And no, I suspect most people tend to mistrust data gatherers if they have been shown to be... inaccurate... and on purpose. And I haven't thrown out any conjecture until the previous sentence.
Except none of this adds any more M&D or Hero’s players to the list of natty champs identified from the past five years. Given your passion on the matter, if they existed, you’d no doubt point them out to us lol.
Now you're at it again mocking data "from the 1950's" that starts --- the year prior, for several years. So no, I'm not fact checking your garbage data as my conjecture is it's biased and likely wrong based on your refusal to factcheck yourself and rely on others. And btw, posters are pointing this out to you, there is no "us".

The two teams you are stretching to take a shot at are two of the three highest ranked clubs every single year. You picking one team each year for a 5 year period and claiming that shows something is just stupid. There were more Oregon Pride players on Northwestern this year than M&D and Heros, does that make OP a better club? Oh no, there was only one YJ LI on this year’s National Champ, we better just close the whole program. You also just arbitrarily picked a 5 year period, but then the Championship team immediately before your cut off period was shown to have 17 players from those two clubs. I have nothing to do with any Baltimore clubs, but you are living in another universe and are probably just one of the trashy HOCO parents I have heard so much about.
Anyway….excited to see my 2034 play this weekend, there are some amazing games. Maybe we can get back to talking about teams in the 33-35 ranges.
I’ve heard Oregon Pride is solid. My 2034 flies in to play for them. 😂😂😂

2016 UNC zero
2015 Maryland 10 m&d and 1 heros
Cycles, man. And this is just a quick and dirty using the bios on the team websites and clubs aren’t listen for some, so the numbers might be higher. I’m not affiliated with either club, but I’ve been around long enough to see patterns, and some really strong young local players have a great opportunity to win titles in the near future. When there are m&d and heros alum on those teams, make sure to rerun your analysis.
You’re legit pulling stats from 11 years ago
Ok, we will only look at the behavior of the champs over the past 5 years. Here is a look at what BC and UNC have been up to:
BC: 2027 class 1 from m&d black
2026 class 1 from m&d and 1 from HG, with a transfer who played for m&d
UNC: 2025 class 1 from m&d
2024 class 2 from m&d
2022 class 1 from m&d
Looks like BC is picking up its recruiting in the bmore area, and UNC will always have a few from here. These are the exemplary teams that we need to look to for club trends, right?
NW has always done it differently with recruiting, but they have tried to get m&d and HG girls; why would the champs bother if these programs weren’t still producing talent?
Look, i get it…hoco is the best club ever, they are going to take over md club lacrosse, and nw, bc, and unc are going to exclusively get their players from there. Leave poor old m&d and heros alone!
