Of course! people have been killed or injured by illegal commercial truck drivers. Presumably they’re cheaper than domestic workers. I think CA rescinded a bunch of CDL’s from illegal immigrants but I’m not at all sure of that

That 401k thing is complicated because my understanding of the proposal is that its tied to "independent contractor" status -- so basically allowing companies to continue to scr&w workers out of many benefits and protections by calling them "independent contractors."
SECURE 2.0, passed a couple of years ago, already expanded 401ks to basically everyone that is a W2 worker. So that's not what he's talking about -- he's talking about independent contractors, so GFL to them in putting hte money aside into the 401k.
