The HT show was full of symbolism. You need to have at least some level of awareness of Latino culture to understand it.
Over 90% of people that watched have no idea what the message was and we're just sitting there bored.

My DD thought she saw Card B! Amazing they were there in a low key role.
The “casita” is a feature of his concerts. When he was doing his shows in Puerto Rico he had it and the house was the vip section and typically had celebrities in it. The concert is supposed to resemble a house party
amazing.
And let's just bow to Lady Gaga. She is sooo amazing with her talent and her support for artists and her "i don't give F" attitude.
+1. Honestly I think it took a minute to fully recognize her as Lady Gaga bc she was there 100 percent in support of BB, and didn't seem to be styling her act as a traditional "cameo." She blended into the show seamlessly. She is incredible.
1000 percent. This wasn’t about her.

No one cares that you’ve lived in a bubble for the last five years, but many of the rest of us haven’t.

Anonymous wrote:I'm a middle aged white (gringa) lady and I thought it was the best half-time show I've ever seen (Gaga was probably my second favorite ever.) Music was amazing, staging was amazing, cameos were amazing, and the story was really inspiring and positive.
I do agree that we don't need all the sexy twerking at these half time shows, but recognize that the ship sailed on that decades ago. Actually, it was the Victoria Secret's ads during the Super Bowl in the 1990s that really broke down the wall of "family friendly" viewing in favor of sexy-sexy. So we can thank Les Wexler for normalizing that, as well as for creating the monster that was Jeffrey E.

And then when he was speaking directly to camera saying that I’m here because I never gave up on myself, don’t ever let anyone tell you can’t live your dreams. THIS MAN!
What a way to use his platform. I’m so proud of his choices with this performance. LOVED IT!!
-Latina who grew up never seeing this kind of representation
Wait, what? The Latin Grammys have existed since 2000. You’ve never noticed?
Anonymous wrote:The performance and all the cameos were awesome. Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal, Ricky Martin & Bad Bunny himself are 🔥. Lady Gaga was fab too.
Between the Olympians who are speaking up on a daily basis in Cortina, JD Vance getting the boos, the Canadian gay hockey show that has taken over the world as the most in-demand TV series, and Bad Bunny tonight, Trump must be livid. Love that for him!
