these are your feelings. When in reality your feelings are right… they dont mean that the clubs are illegal in these practices. They can roster up to 30. Heck there is another club where the TD/coach signed players of one age group because they are carpool buddies. You cant make this shyt up. Its DMV soccer at its finest and probably why the fubol culture is so bad out here.Anonymous wrote:The other factor here is that tryouts are a fraud. And we pay a lot of money to be on these teams. Let's say you are a good player, you go to BSC tryout. You don't make the first team and assume it's because either the roster is full ( yeah I know, it's never really full) or you aren't quite good enough. But then you find out spots were held for these other girls, and you have already paid your money in full to be placed on Team 2. How is that not wrong? It happens all the time around here and I am not an attorney but I think this is a problem.

In fact they are the ones paying the club. Absurd how others outside the parents wish to control a child’s life and decisions. It’s pathetic.
Actually the rules aren’t so rigid. A good atty could win this case hands down for the players. Imagine how holding children hostage for a sport would sound to a team of jurors.
LMAO. You clearly aren’t an atty.
I am an attorney. I read the ECNL rules, as much as I hate to say it, FVU has no chance of winning this. Look up the defined terms. Say goodbye to your old teammates. They are gone. Be nice, if history is a guide, they will be back. BSC, and their abusive coaches do not have a track record of keeping top talent at the older age groups. You can welcome them back later, or you can alienate them. That depends on if SYC parents can be civil, I doubt it, but it is ultimately your choice. Can you not bite off your nose to spite your face?

Are you suggesting there’s no point in ECNL having these rules? In that case should all coaches and clubs just keep openly recruiting whenever they want and players just switch teams as they choose?
The season has not even begun, so yes they should be allowed to switch. This is just an angry failed FVU club trying to hurt the kids they deceived.
Not according to ECNL rules and dates.
ECNL won’t exist in 2 years
FVU will be lucky if they can still play in EDP
Yup! It's true. BSC will be GA next year anyway.
