Those are the ugliest hands I’ve ever seen.

Yes I am not fond of the long painted acrylic fake talons but my DD accuses me of being racist for that opinion (I also don’t love fake eye lashes).

However, young people love them and it is not worth getting worked up about to me …

OMG. I would have a serious talk with my DD about what racism is and *isn't* if that was my daughter.

Who’s the ugly woman hosting?

This is great and looks even better as she moves. She looks great although her face looks different than I remember…not sure I’d recognize her without her being introduced (and her voice).

Maybe she has the same plastic surgeon as Jane Fonda?

Dress itself is lovely. It is from the Haute Couture S/S 1966 collection by Hubert de Givenchy.

In a release about the look, an archivist at Givenchy shared, "The dress is pale yellow silk with a hand-beaded bodice ... from the epic Givenchy Haute Couture/Audrey Hepburn era ... cne of the most important unions between a designer and muse."

Thanks for the background -- my first thought was Hepburn and now I see why.

I think the gloves were wrong and that the color doesn't work, especially with her hair that shade of blonde. I think if she'd gone platinum it would have worked better, though unfortunately she still would have been screwed over by that pale pink and yellow rose backdrop. She looks better in the room (though the dress itself is less striking while seated).

Couldn’t find Audrey in that dress - only a similar one

No. He’s just ridiculous.

I don’t hear y’all throwing a fit when Siriano throws a dress on Billy Porter.

I have zero issue with men wearing gowns but I also didn't like JVN here. It doesn't suit him. Billy Porter has put together these amazing looks that feel like he was born to wear those dresses. Whereas this looks like a prank don for attention.

I’m not sure if it’s the dreas or the hair but something isn’t working for me.

The cut and fit make it look matronly.

Needs a red lip and a glamorous updo.

That would make it look late 70s matronly. Like aging Elizabeth Taylor.

Thank you - we are a monolith representing the exact same lack of taste. We coordinated in advance to make sure that our collective taste was as beige and bland as possible.

PS - do you like our accessories ?

She looks like she just arrived from last call at the truck stop.

What?? She looks amazing and her dress is flattering.

But her hosting - snore -
Did not enjoy her overly earnest and obvious take on what makes for good TV drama

The bust on that dress was not properly fitted. It was especially glaring when the camera had her framed from the waist up when she was presenting.

Also while I get what they were going for with the color scheme and think those colors can look amazing together in the right setting, this wasn't right. I could see that color combo in a movie where you can light it just right being really memorable and striking. But you can't control the lighting or the competing colors in a venue like this and it wound up looking garish and clashing at various points.
