They seem committed to protecting their family. They will always be a family. He strategically hasn’t had kids with other women. On some level even he realizes the importance of not creating more drama for his family.

I know a man who went bananas in his early 40s: alcohol and cheating destroyed his marriage. He started dating young women and bringing them to family functions. After 15 years of that, he got clean and reconnected with his ex-wife. Now they are happily remarried. They are in their mid-70s. He’s like a different person.
I don’t think they will ever reconnect romantically but I do think they are great friends who will always be family. She has seen him through this before and will do it again, because it’s the right thing to do for their family. Hopefully he will be in a good enough place to have a solid relationship one day, but he has a lot of work to do on himself first. It will take years.

I’m not a Jen G hater. Anybody wise just knows it’s more than wanting to clear the cupboards of alcohol. She could do that during the day and face time him from home if she wants to play sober coach. She doesn’t actually have to be there especially given her current bf seems like a very stand up guy.

He did blame the marriage for his alcoholism and had to apologize after that went viral .
Garner did cheat or dump a past ex husband just like J Lo did for Ben. She divorced her ex in 2004 for Ben after meeting him on the set of a movie they worked on together (just like J Lo) .
Some say he probably cheated with Garner while he was still with J Lo. Who knows? All we know is these three have a history together and nobody’s clean
