Did not read the article because of a wall, but the majority of adult kids probably live away from their parents, so the most that grandparents would get to see their grandkids would be 2-3 times a year anyway. Is this drastically different from not having grandchildren?


+1 I guess you get to post some pictures of the grandkids and show off to your friends.

Well, removing fluoride from the water supply and banning vaccines will hasten that. Partnering with Russia to blow up Ukraine will hasten that. If the downfall of civilization was your goal, good vote! And lucky for you, the first to start getting sick and dying will be poor people. Goal met for you, eh?

At what point will this argument be moot? In a generation or two the data could become dire if people really keep pushing this idea. Declines in birth rates can have drastic nominal population affects over time.


Declines in birthrates will save the world. More animals, more trees.

By DCUM standards, I'm far to the right. I have a bunch of kids. In fact, my few fellow conservatives have more kids than our many progressive friends put together.

I can't speak for my friends, but my kids will all have lots of kids. To the extent politics are heritable, and research suggests they are, the future will belong to people like me. We are in peak leftism right now the same way Japan peaked in 1990.


I come from a large family…12 siblings…not a single of us kids had more than 2 kids (and two are childless) because it sucked growing up in such a large family.

If you are filthy rich…I might agree with you.
