If Tom’s claims were without merit, it’s unlikely his legal team would support such a public and deliberate step. Going to the media signals that he’s committed to presenting his side of the story clearly and openly. Regardless of the outcome, this situation is likely to have a significant impact on DCSC’s reputation, especially given its prior controversies. It does raise an important question: after the interview airs and more families from DCSC and other clubs see it, will the organization continue to stand behind Greg Andrulis and Michelle Alioto?
From previous actions, It is clear that either he doesn’t listen to his legal team or he is receiving terrible legal advice.
You mentioned that it’s clear he either doesn’t listen to his legal team or is receiving poor legal advice. That may be the case, but if Michelle Alioto and Greg Andrulis are truly correct, and have nothing to hide, then the obvious question is:
Why hasn’t this situation been reversed?
If they are in the right, why aren’t they fighting to be fully transparent with the DCSC families? Why not make public that they are countersuing Tom Walsh, and bring their case to the media as well?
After all, when someone is truly in the right, and has nothing to hide, transparency should be the strongest tool, not something to avoid.
I believe many in the DC community are asking the same questions, and it’s fair to expect honest answers moving forward.

That’s your experience; more power to you to stop looking at this thread.
Over here in NE, many people are hoping for the least-negative outcome possible for Tom Walsh because he cared for our kids in a way that DCSC never has.
