A part of me has begun to believe that the GOP’s plan for mental illness is that they’ll suicide themselves with the guns the GOP provides, a survival of the fittest type thing. I can’t think of another reason why they’d be so open to blaming mental illness for various ills but never addressing the treatment aspect and all while trying to get more guns into everyone’s hands everywhere.
it's because they honestly don't give a sh1te about anyone else. The "mental illness concern" is just smoke they blow up people's a$$es, kind of like "save the babies.. ban abortion". They care more about guns than anything else, that's why they refuse to ban guns for the mentally ill.
