This came up as a discussion in the staff lounge during lunch today. Nobody was quite sure what the plan is come March 1. We talked about the law, the superintendent's letter, "Moderate", and we just aren't clear.
My spouse is also a teacher and she said she asked her principal about March 1. He said he wasn't sure, but was hoping to get more information soon.
This is totally unacceptable. I’m a parent and my kids are going maskless on March 1.
Pp here. That’s what I understood will can and will happen and I’m ok with it, but there is definitely confusion.

Hope you are ready to step up and teach if teachers quit.

If only you were as worried about things that actually matter - like gun violence, poverty, poor instruction - as you are about a stupid piece of paper. So your kids will not wear masks, which won't benefit them in any possible way but will make you feel like you got one over on the libs, but meanwhile they'll still be cowering in dark classrooms during active shooter drills because actual safety isn't even on your radar. You're an idiot.

That’s another thing too. When we hit either substantial or moderate over the fall for a few days, that’s when the county started counting all the other surrounding counties in its calculations of whether we were moderate or substantial or high or whatever. So they’re also fudging the numbers to make us look worse.
