I had to give up dairy but I use to love just putting hot sauce on sour cream and eating it with chips or a tortilla

I haven’t had cool whip for 30 years but man do I crave it sometimes.
In my house we almost always had leftover whipped cream in the fridge and I used to mix it with Hershey syrup and call it chocolate mousse and eat it after a school. I dreamed of opening a fancy restaurant and serving it.

I just ate half a bag of candy corn and do feel a little queasy. Where is the Autumn Mix this year? I am missing the faint taste of chocolate in indian corn.
There’s a shortage due to the company being hacked. Sad though I prefer the pumpkins to the autumn mix.

I was just in Ireland and brought back some curry sauce and am 100% dreaming of a night when DH is out so I can do just that. Except I like curry cheese chips so cheese will be involved.
There used to be an Irish restaurant in a random strip mall in Alexandria that had good curry fries when I wanted some. Fiona’s. It’s now gone sadly.
The Irish Inn at Glen Echo does not have the curry chips but other irish classics such as shepherds pie and fish and chips …
It is very close to Virginia from both Chain Bridge and American Legion Bridge. Nice atmosphere and the manager is Irish so has many authentic touches … it has casual pub, relaxed al fresco and formal dining sections.
Ireland Four Courts in Arlington has curry fries , at least they did pre-pandemic, haven’t been recently but still on the menu on website
