Seems to me if no one can get a majority to agree we need any of these things, maybe we don’t need them that badly. Just take the $1.76T off the deficit this year.

After trying to follow, I’m still not sure which bill is which, why there are so many at once, and which ones have a time crunch. Can anyone explain it like I’m 5?

Bottom line, the progressives are for the infrastructure bill and always have been. They wanted BBB to be included so as to not be derailed by moderate dems and the GOP.
At the end of the day, both bills will pass the House, perhaps as soon as tomorrow, and likely will pass the Senate, hopefully before the end of the year.

There are about 121 house members who are progressive. Without them the dems would have about 100 house seats. Those 100 representatives are large geriatric and totally out of touch with the democratic base. Those are your moderates.
There are only 95 members in the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Stop lying.
