Oh, please. Bill Clinton is living pretty well with himself, unlike Monica whose life was ruined. I’d much prefer to be the CEO in that scenario.
Monica’s story did not teach us anything, I guess.

Bill Clinton is different though because he was going to retire anyway. Plus his wife stayed with him, possibly because she already knew about his infidelities and/or her own ambition discouraged her from leaving him.

A better comparison would be Harry Stonecipher, who resigned as CEO of Boeing after only two years and was also divorced by his wife. I imagine a similar fate for this guy.

I don’t approve of the double standard, but she knew the rules were unfair when she sat down at the card table.

I warn people that all the time. It’s not just the fate of the OW, but anyone who faces a double standard in society. It’s unfair, but you are not going to change the court of public opinion. Whatever you are doing better be worth setting your life on fire.
