Absolutely not. We are all affected by this directly or indirectly through gas prices, fertilizer and whatever else we normally get from Russia. I saw an article that many beachfront stores and hotels rely on workers from Ukraine and Russia. It's uncertain whether they'll be able to open this summer.
Then there's the horrifying loss of lives, and the influx of refugees to other countries. Threat of nuclear war. So no, we should not be over the Ukraine situation.

I do not think so. I live within 3 miles of the pentagon and while many have already started leaving for vacation homes or family out of the area we are prepared for where this goes. And we are leaving/changing schools for our kids - not trivial as we are aware of a real fight to come. Others making their own plans.

Is this for real? Are people making these changes due to perceived nuclear threat or what?
I live in an outlying suburb which I’m sure would be vaporized in case of nuclear bomb, but have not altered my daily routine. I follow the news so don’t live in a vacuum, but just do not feel the threat level is that high. Am I deceiving myself?

Where I live in SW DC, I'm within 6500 feet of the Pentagon, White House and Capitol. I'd be vaporized. I believe there may be a very real risk, but don't care.

I don't care either. If there's going to be nuclear war I don't want to survive it. The world will be a bleak place to live.

The threat is more than zero. Some people, I imagine, are preparing for that. The reality is bleak though. It would be virtually impossible to outrun a nuclear bomb - or bombs - that would pummel the east coast. Even if you aren’t vaporized you die from radiation and/or burns and/or starvation. It’s terrifying in part because there’s little you can do unless you plan on leaving the continent.
