So Brandon shared pictures with Tina at Carrie Underwood concert last night and they were with Carrie”s guitar player behind the scenes on stage and what looked like great seats. And then Jen announces she’s going too with her besties - wonder if she enjoyed the concert or spent the night looking for B and T in the crowd. Of course she has to mention Tyler’s “hook up” for the tickets and that they were in Row G 🙄. Make sure the little people know she gets better than you…. But I think Brandon “wins” this one LOL

Statistically, the majority of Americans are pro-choice and anti church. Within those groups, there’s quite a bit of diversity. Where Jen lives in Austin, the football stadium is packed full of pro-choice, extension loving women. If Jen loses her fan base, it won’t be over these issues. Those folks left years ago. Her new model of constant selling and promo codes is what will do her in.

I agree that she doesn’t have that much influence. I think the real problem for her will be when her message has become so limited and only resonates with a teeny, tiny number of people. My friends who are pro abortion and anti church also don’t talk about hair extensions and football. It’s an eclectic mix of traits and opinions opinions which makes the world go around. I understand your point, but I have noticed that while a few years ago there were some dissenting voices on her fb, now literally none get through. Of course she doesn't put herself out there to be proven wrong. It's her page. I guess that's the danger in online community vs in person. It's not natural for anyone to never have to explore and consider their beliefs.

In theory, no, but do you have any specific examples of social media spaces that aren’t echo chambers? Any physical places? Churches? I can’t think of one, so singling out Jen seems like misplaced frustration.

I am NOT debating yes or no on these issues. I am saying that there is an echo chamber there and a bunch of fans who now believe that everything they thought yesterday might be wrong, and that only by tossing out orthodoxy on all levels and in all things can we achieve the enlightened state of Jen. In my opinion, this is not only terribly harmful to the followers but to the leader as well who is being applauded right over a cliff. The poor woman- what does she have left?
This isn't any different from any evangelical Christian church is which is also an echo chamber.

This line of thinking makes the argument that Jen is actively leading people away from beliefs, but I don’t think she has that type of influence, even within her own circle. I think what’s appealing about her is that she is a face and a voice of what is has been a very common experience. Jen didn’t invent deconstruction and she is not an outlier. She’s just a face and a voice of a common experience. Don’t give her so much credit and it might bother you much less.

They always have a blast together.
But Jen needs...a man who loves her in a deep way, not this teenage banter that she and Tyler have. He has never had a serious relationship and it shows. She has kids and they come before him even as adults. Tyler is an only child, single man of over 40- way too high a learning curve for him.

If you suddenly see pictures with or a post about them, you’ll know either she reads here or someone else does who told her. Same as when she was getting shade here about Remy and suddenly there were posts and pictures and gushiness of them doing things together.
