The GA/MLSN alliance thing is going to continue gaining momentum. Just wait until clubs start switching in groups.
I'm not pro any league. IDK why people can't accept the facts that ECNL is still king with a huge gap. I'm referring to this moment in time, even after the GA additions. We all know GA has watered down their league with these mid to low additions. That doesn't mean GA won't be the top league in 3-5 years. Maybe their plan will work out. I really don't care. I don't understand why it's so hard for people to acknowledge the facts for this moment in time.
The same college scouts and recruiters attend both GA and ECNL events.
no they don't. ECNL gets double the amount of scouts especial D1 and this upcoming season it's gonna be worse for GA if their showcases dates and amounts stay the same. GA's only showcase with every age group that is their biggest turnout of coaches had a huge drop this season from the previous year. and this year, the ECNL moved their showcase up a week to the first week of DEC, the same week as the GA showcase. also the same dates as the CASL showcase in NC that has a decent turnout. so in the first week of DEC you will have:
GA Showcase - California
ECNL Showcase - Kansas City
CASL showcase - North Carolina
where you think most of the college teams will go?
Didn't ECNL numbers drop as well (which seems to be the fact always left out)?
Yes ECNL dropped too. Recruiting budgets are getting squeezed and colleges are using the transfer portal and internationals to add players. Recruiting of HS players is shrinking across the board.
only 1 showcase dropped a few coaches. other than that, every ECNL showcase INCREASED college turnout. facts. this year will be really bad for GA
More ECNL propaganda/wishcasting ^^^^^^^^^^ If they are so dominant, it wouldn't be even needed.

That's a bad look to throw up the numbers showing D1 coach attendance and then showing the release of the graphic.
No D1 coaches are attending U13/14/15 events and the graphic has like 5 in there.
too one said they did. that list is only for high school aged groups. the ECNL events/showcases that are for U12/U13/U14 do not invite college coaches nor is there a sign up or a list of who signed up. I am sure maybe local coaches may show up but the tournaments around these age groups are obviously just normal showcases with competition outside their conference. my daughter has attended 2 of these at U13 & U14 and I never saw any college coaches, nor was there ever a list on the ecnl website or given to us by our head coach to email college coaches to attend our games. but GA wearing their hats backwards will always bark with no bite
Dude, the amount of time you put into dissing GA is having the opposite effect you want. Just comparing them with ECNL is raising GA's profile and putting them in the conversation. He doth protest too much.

Yes, just trying to give some perspective. If you don't care move on, but seriously the narrative here that GA has somehow overtaken ECNL is very misplaced.

More ECNL propaganda/wishcasting ^^^^^^^^^^ If they are so dominant, it wouldn't be even needed.
facts bounce your narrative...but go ahead
