As a NVA parent, I notice we posted all over social media that the NVA U16 beat DCU
Maybe its an oversight that no one says the NVA U16 beat the DCU U15
2:1 on a last second goal
Or that the DCU U16 beat the NVA U17 and the DCU U17/18 beat the NVA U19

You are repeating the same information we already know. Only 3 clubs had a majority of their tags used on 2012’s in this latest update. The majority did not tag any 2012’s. Two of them don’t start until U15 meaning they don’t invest. What investment are these few clubs recouping by tagging these players other than acting like a mob boss and forcing the families into submission?
Nobody is arguing the MLS rules. Yet, Philly tags no one and DCU tags a bunch of 2012’s. Is it ethical or fair to the community you serve to not invest 💩 and then obstruct kids from moving to coerce them into your academy or recoup an investment you never made when they don’t want to be there?
Do you have any other response other attacking my character? You’ve been there and done that enough 🙄
Show us the Philly Union full protected list
Prove there are no 2012’s on their full entire list
You're yapping about no 2012’s being on the Latest update. That doesn't mean there are none.
Provide the entire protected list of Philly Union or shut up
You're like a teen with an unhealthy crush on Philly and obsession with DCU
Show ANYTHING that proves DCU is a good academy...🥱
To anyone new to the thread, this is a key post. Amongst 260 pages of one poster attacking any valid and supported criticism of DCUA by attacking the messenger, you will find little to anything positive about DCUA. I will boil it down. The players at DCU are some of the most talented players in the region. Training with the highest level (and most physical) players has value.
There doesn't seem to be anything DC United does well, when compared with its MLS Academy peers. If so, we'd love to hear it. How about some data, or verifiable facts, or even anecdotal evidence that DCUA is a "strong academy"?
What evades your simple one-track mind, is no one cares to debate you with your tunnel vision determination to sling mud at DC United, DCUA, the players and the parents
A couple folks occasionally just point out your unsubstantiated emotional biased BS
You're seeking an argument to scratch your itch. People won't indulge you.
Now continue

I don’t doubt it but that is not a hard bar to clear coming from P2P. We are at a “top” club and it is a 💩 show compared to our experiences overseas so DCU Academy should be an upgrade on P2P as you have experienced.
When DMV born and raised players such as Luka Bentt, Makai Wells and Gustavo Borges are advancing far faster than their counterparts in the DCU academy isn’t it fair to start asking questions in order to improve or should we just remain complacent?
Which idiot says they know soccer, throws out 3 names that took a different path and seriously ask why isn't everyone taking those paths?
Did all three of those names you name-dropped take the same exact path to where they are now, wherever that is?
Speaking of which, where is for example Makai Wells today that no DC Academy players hasn't been?
I guess you don't know too much to know as they all originated in the same place. Two had passports, one did not. All aimed to get away from DCU.
Since you are back and we have your attention, how many kids from Philly are in our RDS system? That was the last question posed. You conveniently disappear when asked any question to support DCU.
I will add too that at least one, prob 2, of those 3 were on the protected list for a while.
What is the RDS system?! Is that even something that can be legitimately related to a pathway to DCUA?!
RDS stands for Regional Development School. It is DCUs effort to extract as much money as possible in a market that has so many eager and uneducated (in soccer), but wealthy, parents. It is a money grab, nothing more. There is practically no legitimate pathway to DCU from the RDS and anyone who says otherwise, including DCU, is absolutely lying to you. It is just another way for DCU to make money and get a larger slice of the pie that the Bethesdas, Arlington's , Alexandrias of the world are getting. It is also open to girls to give you a sense of how disconnected the RDS is from the DCU academy.
Good thing you're not liable for slander as anonymous, so you can just say anything.
My kid just did RDS and we never once were promised that this was a pathway to being on a DC United Academy team etc
It's not slander. You are proving the point. They don't promise it as a pathway because they don't have a true pathway like other academies. Tyler Adams was identified through Red Bulls RDS program. Philly Union has several academy products that came through their PPP system. If you compare either the Red Bulls RDS system or the Philly PPP system to any DCU development system, you will be able to follow the logic in their ineptitude (I think). DCU thinks PPA will develop you. When I type this out, it is even more laughable than I imagined. I am not really sure why so many people like to raise their hand for an incompetent defense of our lazy a-- professional academy. Somebody needs to put baby in the corner.
Directly from the DCU RDS page, so stop lying man
"How does my child earn consideration for a D.C. United Academy trial?
Players who are successful in making the RDS program are constantly evaluated by their coaches. At the end of each season, coaches have the ability to recommend players for our D.C. United Academy"

Came to DCU last year, was at RedBulls the prior 2 years. Brooklyn native.
So?
How does that change the signing?
