Well... those teams will win their conferences - BI the WCAC girls and SSSAS the IAC (Visi has a chance but its a long shot). AND more importantly, the top ranked national teams will have invitations ad opportunities to play in some tournaments that dont come to non-ranked etams.
Interestingly Visi and Stone Ridge had a very tight game yesterday, with Visi winning 10-9.
Once again Visi is not living up to its potential. This is not the first game they played this year that should have had a bigger spread. The issue with Visi teams used to be overly involved parents who were allowed to dictate to the coaches. I don't believe that is the problem now but don't know what is. Now, that said, SR is definitely a program that is trying to make a name for itself. SR hired a great coach away from Holy Cross last year and she is determined to make a name for SR in the lax community. There are some outstanding SR freshmen players but more generally SR has no where near the depth that Visi does. Very interesting...
