Same. If someone's post is confusing due to grammar mistakes, either ignore it or ask for clarity. If the post is very clear but has some common grammar mistakes in it, who cares? I'm much more concerned about someone doing three drafts of a DCUM post before submitting than the person who mixes up your/you're while typing on their phone. And many of these mistakes are autocorrect errors or typos, not human error. The quality of writing on this site is much higher than you might expect it to be.

+1 I have only done it once (you're versus your) but I applaud the people who take on this task and help school the unschooled. I wish one of you would begin addressing "who" and "that." My dentist would appreciate it because that misuse really makes me grind my teeth.

NP. I think the grammarians need to learn to let things go, including the criticism that they are annoying (which you are, just accept that people hate that you do this).

I like the perspective of many of the foreign posters, whether they currently live in the US or abroad. Some of the American ex-pats living abroad are good and knowledgeable (I like Brussels poster), but a couple are insufferable. I get the sense they are actually miserable living “in Europe” which is why they spend so much time on DCUM being condescending.
