St Johns is a year away from the big stage.... I think Gonzaga's best days could be behind them... SJC is aggressively recruiting has has eat into Gonzaga's marketshare. Not to mention, the Mater Dei pipeline has shifted back to Georgetown Prep for the past few years.
PS: just because, Landon, SJC or Gonzaga aren't on my list, doesn't equate these teams won't have super strong seasons this Spring. All of them are very strong teams and capable of beating anyone on this pre-season list.
1. Bullis- IAC
2. Spalding-MIAA
3. Gonzaga- WCAC

I've heard rumors that the WCAC is not mandating test across their teams where as the IAC is intending to test weekly - is this true?

Maybe based on DC's tolerance for sports, I heard WCAC sports seasons overlap so kids can do fall or spring sport but not both.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:IAC league plays opens in mid April.
When does the WCAC start play?
Same. Football season has to finish first.
Anonymous wrote:why does anyone take scrimmage results into consideration?
This is not club ball or summer ball.
Scrimmages really are not the best barometer to gauge team A is better than team C based on a scrimmage result. All coaches have different philosophies when it comes to scrimmages.
Anonymous wrote:BL and Gilman are just not that good, and Calvert Hall is substantially better than McDonogh after what they lost in graduation.
