Northeastern, Colby, Rhodes are usually picked by students who got into William and Mary and in some cases better LACs yet chose these schools, at full price, when they are not a good, objectively, on many measures.

Completely agree - Harvard and Yale are totally overrated. Both offer subpar educations and their graduates are unimpressive. They really are a joke!

Northeastern is actually one of the schools most underrated.
It rivals T25 schools on almost all major metrics such as outcome, graduation rate, retention rate, student caliber, etc.
Maybe you are an old generation and still thinking in the 80s??

Also I think it's very rare cases they go to UGA, UTenn, Clemson, UCI when they get into W&M or VT iinstate.

For what it’s worth, it’s also the only one of the old money schools to maintain academic rigor and display excellence across the board in STEM - Harvard and Yale are jokes in comparison.

They are pretty much all overrated because they are far too expensive.

Toni Morrison is one of the most famous writers of our generation. Not something to exactly snuff at. But also you ignored the rest of that persons comment. It is the most acclaimed Math program in the US, potentially the world.
