Trump has a tell when he intentionally lies. He lowers his voice to barely audible, and his eyes get sort of hooded. (His everyday delusional lies are a different animal.) When he said he is taking hydroxy, he believed it. He wasn’t lying, IMHO.

I think the doc is giving him pills, and they are absolutely not hydroxy.

First off, it is not a "risky" drug. Millions of people take it with no complications or ill effects.
Secondly, he is under a doctor's care. You cannot get this medication without a prescription.

Of course it is a risky drug. The FDA says so. The history of the drug says so.

It can have serious side effects, contraindications, and interactions with other drugs. It is worth the risk if you have lupus or malaria or rheumatoid arthritis.
