How did everyone think the first games went?
Arlington played Penn Fusion with mixed results (2 losses and 1 win). The games were exciting and the competition was tough. Overall, I thought the girls did well for their first game as a team.
Where is the loudmouth who was saying Arlington would get crushed in DA. They did very well against Penn Fusion.

Spirit VA lost games versus Cedar Stars. For the games I know about, the margins very different across the age groups.
U14 1-0
U15 1-0 (Could have been different if the defender and midfielder playing with the U17s were rostered in their age group)
U17 4-0
A few good strikers will put the younger age groups on the map for Spirit.

LOL. They've been in business for one year and are up against teams that have been together for years.
You clearly don't understand soccer and are simply a WS troll. Probably had a daughter who didn't make the cut and now you are bitter.
Get a life.

Interesting information given some of the numbers that were being thrown out here earlier in the thread...
FCV U15s = 18
FCV U16/17 = 22
Arlington U15 = 17
No U16/17 team
Wash Spirit VA U15s = 22
Wash Spirit VA U16/17 = 16
Wash Spirit MD U15s = 18
Wash Spirit MD U16/17 = 17
The U15s have 24. There are 2 players not on there that I know are not only on the FT roster, they are starters.
I should clarify: the WS VA U15s. So I don't know if there are missing players from the other rosters as well.
Maybe they’re not starters anymore . . .
They are. Saturday will prove that out. If I'm wrong though - which if we were in person, I'd bet money I'm not - I'll come on Sunday and give my mea culpa.

Man you sound so creepy. So glad we are not with you on the sideline.

Spirit MD is just as new. Let's watch what happens to them vs us. And I already say upfront: hats off to them because they are fielding better squads.
