I can't believe the Democrats put themselves in a position that people will see that they were willing to put the entire country's welfare into jeopardy to cater to illegals who don't even have a right to live in the US. Republicans should just refuse to link DACA to the spending bill.
Horsesh*t. If you control both houses of Congress and the White House and the government shuts down, it's because YOU WANTED THE GOVERNMENT TO SHUT DOWN.
Trump manufactured this drama back in September for the sole purpose of purpose of putting Democrats in a lose-lose situation. Eff that joker and his entire broke down car of clowns.
The entire world is against you jackasses.

With hours to go before a midnight deadline for Congress to fund the government or shut it down, most Americans say avoiding a shutdown is more important than passing a bill to maintain the program allowing people brought to the US illegally as children to stay, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS.
It is patently ridiculous to shut down the government with all of its ramifications just because the Democrats insist on amnesty for 800K DACA recipients who illegally entered the country! Repeat: they are in the country ILLEGALLY and yet, Democrats are willing to actually shut down the government?
Insanity!!

Exactly. He's not essential so if the government shuts down it's not like he's going to have to work anyway.

Democrats should drop the issue and focus on something more tangible to the majority of the US population. Cost of prescription drugs? Improved transportation infrastructure? Subsidized STEM degrees? Paying teachers more? Any takers?
Those are partisan issues. DACA is not. Trump, McConnell, and Ryan all want a solution for DACA. Democrats are asking Republicans to pass something that the Republicans are in favor of.
