It's like with anything people do to lose weight - it's a tool to use to help you while you learn better habits. You learn how to control your portions, how much you really need to eat vs eating out of boredom/stress/etc.

But you "can" control them because you are taking speed that makes you not hungry. When you stop taking speed you will be hungry again like you were before ~ what will be different? Its not like "anything",.......exercise and diet works.

He only prescribed the phentermine, and said if that isn't working well, they then add in the prozac... at first I was a little disappointed, but I figured it's worth a shot.
Also, after reading the experiences on here with Dr. Anchors, I expected to at least have a discussion over what I have tried, my routine, etc. but he did not care at all about anything. I walked in, he weighed me, took my blood pressure, and gave me the pills. Had a printout with a "suggested" meal plan but didn't talk about it or go over any of it. I was a little shocked because it almost too easy.
It was essentially the same with Dr. Anchors except he talks for a half hour or so.
This is the PP. I expected at least some talking from Rivas about diet, exercise, etc but I really got none... crazy.
Anyway, this is also day 1 on just the phentermine and I have zero appetite. I never eat breakfast but I heated up my lunch just to take a break from work, and ate about half of it before just losing total interest. No noticeable other side affects (no dry mouth yet, etc).
How much did he charge?
