You are inclined to give merit to anything negative towards Muslims. There is literally nothing negative about Muslims that you are not inclined to agree with.


I'm inclined to look at everything surrounding an incident and see if there's any merit. I don't think it's an accident that the father is a very prominent activist and that Cair got involved so quickly. When you listen to the boy talk about 'the cause', etc, it stinks even more.

Our beloved clock kid also has about 3-4 go fund me/crowd funding sites-one with a goal of 100,000, recieved a ton of high end computer equipment from Microsoft, and countless other opportunities and financial benefits.

None of the white, black or Hispanic kids who were "wrongfully" arrested/detained/suspended from school were given a dam thing-why?????

They also portray his little "briefcase" in the interview with him as a colorful-child like space themed hologramed case-using an Amazon ad-a case a 5 year old might like or use. But the clock was actually in a black case which certainly looked more suspicious and sinister than the one the media shows! Do your detective work and read between the lines-use your brains!!!!

+1. A suspect isn't booked or fingerprinted unless there has been an arrest. The fact charges aren't filed by a prosecutor is irrelevant. A prosecutor has discretion to refer the matter to a grand jury for the purpose of determining which charges, if any, should be included in an indictment.

Police said he was detained. He was not charged. There is controversy surrounding the concept of detained vs. arrested. Most agree that when you are arrested, there's enough evidence/information to officially charge you.


Still he was arrested. Even if he wasn't charged and regardless of what they say.

I agree. He should have disconnected the beeper before storing it. He didn't mention the sound in the TV interview but I think he did in an interview for the newspaper. Why the administrators thought it might be a hoax, I don't know. FWIW, if the kid wasn't acting like it was a hoax (i.e. planting it someone deliberately), it probably wasn't. Again, I place the blame on the administrators.

Y'all have a lot of expectations of a fourteen year old boy carrying a clock. I daresay your kids probably couldn't set one, much less build one. And if they did manage that, they would probably forget it at school.


My oldest two are STEM kids. My firstborn could code well at that age. He would probably forget it at school - the kid forgot EVERYHING...takes after his Dad

My daughter (middle) won the STEM award for her school. She's diligent to a fault.

My point is I think that nice little kid is being used by CAIR. Not the first time kids are used - at least no one is wiring him up! . That said, I think he should take advantage of the MIT visit and White House tour!

The kid in TX was not arrested by the way. He was detained. Detaining can involve handcuffs. When someone is arrested, they are usually charged with a crime. The TX boy was not. He was detained and questioned, which can be done to determine if he was a safety risk.
