Subject: Most pretentious name you've heard?
A brief skim through this thread shows that most of you have no idea what "pretentious" means.
Ridiculous does not equal pretentious.
Generic, Christian names do not equal pretentious.
Pretentious is "expressive of affected, unwarranted, or exaggerated importance, worth, or stature."

Pretty sure their nicknames aren’t spelled that way. It’s usually Chuy or Chuey.

Agreed. I know a girl Colin and the family definitely means to sound wealthy when they are not.
