The governor had the state attorney step down and appointed an independent state attorney. So governor felt that the SA was bias and failing to perform his duties in this case. Wow.
On Thursday, Seminole County State Attorney Norman R. Wolfinger recused himself from the case, sending a letter to Scott requesting that another prosecutor be assigned. “In the interest of the public safety of the citizens of Seminole County and to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest, I would respectfully request the executive assignment of another state attorney for the investigation and any prosecution arising from the circumstances surrounding the death of Trayvon B. Martin,” Wolfinger said in a statement.

Not only did the P.D. instantly lose credibility, they outright P.D. failed to do their job. The town and county are going to be sued for everything. You can not "favor" a citizen. If you listen to the 911 tapes, you will find Zimmerman has zero emotion or inflection in his voice. He has mental problems.
The P.D. is in question because of their own actions. I don't know about other witnesses, but any put out by the P.D. has holes in it.
OK, but what about other witnesses coming forward?
Please post links to the news story of other witnesses coming forward.

My thoughts are:
1. I don't think the new Florida statute is relevant.
2. This is more old-fashioned self defense. So what is the law? If you chase someone down, and the chasee fights back and is beating you up, is it then self defense to use deadly force? on one hand the shooter was getting beat up and his life may have reasonably been threatened (maybe a stretch). but on the other hand the entire confrontation was started by the eventual shooter, so how is that self defense?
3. Again, I wish the kid was white so the race-baiters wouldn't be so obsessed.

Again, not saying this is likely, but it is possible, and there are a LOT of very emotionally invested people all across the country.

This never would have happened if Trayvon was white. Are you really so dense as to not get that? If he was white he would have "belonged" in the neighborhood and Zimmerman would never have noticed him in the first place, much less calling 911, tailing him and gunning him down.
How does anyone know that it couldn't have happened if Trayvon Martin was not AA? The police on the scene wrote reports, had witnesses, cuffed Zimmerman, took his gun, etc. I found online mugshots and there are lots of very scary looking people of all races plus those who do not appear threatening.
And who is the white t shirt person when Zimmerman wore red and Trayvon grey? Was a third person involved?
Oh, you had to look at "online mugshots" to come to this conclusion?![]()
Obviously we can't go back in time and do a controlled experiment with a white kid in a hoodie to see if Zimmerman would shoot him, too. But let's operate in the real world, shall we?

Character of the victim would shed light on how he could act as an agressor
