It's two days. It's not anti education, it's realism and safety.

And opening for a half day is just silly.

Reid also does not control the weather or the snow plows.

I will be impressed with Reid if she can get schools open by Tuesday or Wednesday! We have had too many days off. If y'all want endless snow days, you should be happy without 4 day weeks all Fall. Parents are astoundingly anti-education around here.

Pictures all over the county of stuck plows. To not even assess the situation tomorrow before putting lives at risk for a week that is already shortened is asinine. We know students will be off Monday-Wed. Treat your people with respect and get things ready later in the week once the roads are drivable. Absolutely shameful.


I agree. Treating some of the worst paid people like this is shameful.

I agree. I'm just betting on the whole week. I'm texting with some local parents whose houses we can walk to and we may doing some trading off.
