Yes, she seems super miserable lately. She should most certainly stay in her tortured era because “intensity” somehow means true love. Kidding, obviously. Taylor said it best, you’re starving until you’re not. Travis is the real deal. She feels the most herself. The album is a good listen start to finish.

I do not like Matty Healy and think Taylor's interest in him is disappointing, but I'm also not even a little convinced she's over him or that she feels for Travis with the same level of intensity.

I think with Travis she's "settling" for the guy who really, really likes her/needs her, on the theory he will be more loyal and committed. Which is probably true, and she's lucky to find a guy like that because not all women do. But I think their relationship will always be lopsided and he'll always be more interested in her than she is in him.

I know other women who have done similar and their relationships go the distance and seem to result in happy home lives. But in one case where the kids are now HS/college age, they are now getting a divorce. It's kind of like she locked him down to create the family and commitment she needed when she wanted to have kids, but now that her kids are grown she doesn't need him anymore and is moving on to more interesting, exciting men. No more golden retriever.
