Can’t believe they paid yet more $ for this survey and even more $ to make a spreadsheet of results. Would love yo know just the $ spent on the surveys alone. It’s like FCPS keeps putting them out to “engage” the parents the same way you might give candy to a little kid to distract them

Its because all the options are terrible and the options that would be good cost too much money for FCPS' current budget. They told us as much last year but parents kept pushing for start time changes so they threw up the only two options that are feasible and asked people which one they disliked the least.
They should never have sent out that survey. They could have just said that the options for change were not viable under the current budget restraints.
Suggesting that elementary kids could start at 9:50 was educationally unsound under any circumstances.

Doesn’t matter. Surveys are for show. Reid will do what Reid wants to do.
Well she will do nothing and this is something I can actually agree with her on.
+1. Doing nothing on this one will be a win for Reid. But - they still shouldn’t make results public before the survey has closed. Tell me my input doesn’t matter without telling me my input doesn’t matter.
