She’s speaking, Padilla started yelling. He gets removed because people-doesn’t matter who you are- don’t get to interrupt a press conference.

Unruly agitator? Padilla isn't the one shoving people around throwing them to the ground.
Padilla isn't the one who has an army of goons randomly shooting people including harmless journalists and random bystanders.
Nope, that would be Noem's violent unruly agitating goons.
The LAPD works for Kristi Noem? I was unaware of that.
Do you think federal agents had any clue who the rando rushing the press conference was. That was a stupid grandstanding maneuver by whoever that politician is.
That's a really strange defense.
Indeed, it's the "don't you know who I am" defense. The FBI is trained to respond to and neutralize perceived threats. That's what they did here. He may have tried to identify himself as a U.S. Senator as be was being neutralized, but the entire situation could have been avoided if he had calmly and politely approached the FBI - with his Senate pin clearly visible - identified himself as a U.S. Senator, then determined how he could ask questions without being disruptive.
It would appear that his identity was verified after he was neutralized as a threat and removed from the vicinity of the protectee (Sec. Noem). He was then released.
I'm surprised that folks on this thread aren't aware that someone tried to assassinate President Trump twice - so potential threats to him and members of his administration are being taken VERY seriously. Some of you might claim that the Senator wasn't a threat, but this is no different than the Congressional Representatives showing up to ICE facilities and demanding to be let in to conduct oversight. Members of Congress can conduct their oversight through hearings and questioning witnesses. Sec. Noem has testified previously and will do so again.
HE WAS ESCORTED INTO THE PRESS CONFERENCE BY AN FBI AGENT.
All caps isn't going to get your point across any better than normal text.
Even if that is true, did Sec. Noem or her in-room security know he was attending? Did they know he was going to start shouting questions (at the very least, did he tell his escorts he was going to do that)? Is this normal behavior for a sitting U.S. Senator? Could he have called Sec. Noem's office and asked for a meeting to request that she clarify her remarks?
Senate oversight isn't conducted this way. He wanted to make a scene in front of the cameras. While he's trying to spin what happened, he should have handled things much differently than he did.
If you watch his statement he said he’s been calling and asking for meetings and she’s ignored him.
Next…

DP. I feel like you’re missing the point so because they just profiled him as some rando Hispanic man and treated him like this that’s better to you? Also it’s not his fault they’re ignorant.
He actually identified himself as a Senator before speaking. They're just stifling anything resembling free speech.
You are blatantly lying.
He was shouting and rushing toward the podium before he identified himself.
How would anyone think that this random guy appearing unhinged is a senator?
Speaking isn’t “shouting”.
Stop lying. We can see the video.

I could shout that I am a Senator.
I am not.
Should everyone believe me?
Were you escorted into the room by the national guard and FBI like Padilla was? If you ARE a senator then yes people should believe you.

It wasn't time for questions, and it's unclear if she would be taking any at all. This is clear grand-standing, and frankly it doesn't matter who he is.
I don't think this will have the impact the left thinks it will have on the voters they are trying to sway.
Can someone explain to me the "unprecedented" nature of this event?

You are clueless
Your "trusted" sources of news clipped the video so you could see what you wanted to see
Ah, yes. The old “cheap fake” video allegation because what it shows totally obliterates your argument.
Sorry it proves you yo be a liar. Actually no, I’m not sorry.
