Trump wouldn't have been re-elected if not for Musk buying twitter. Your analogy of Elon hugging you and jumping off a cliff is spot on. He's relentless and very capable of starting a civil war. And, of course, the GOP doesn't have to fear financed primary challenges for opposing Trump. Trump will carry on, but this hastens his lame duck status.

I really don’t think it was planned. This is completely in line with their temperaments and egos. When he mentioned the Epstein files, that confirmed it wasn’t planned. Trump would not permit him to say something that makes hom look that bad.

How many real stories are being buried because of this?
