Your guess sucks. Some teams have clear totem poles and some have many kids bunched within .5 sec of each other.

My child is the fastest in their age group on our team in every event but breaststroke, but not by a lot. I would be mortified if someone beat my child’s time by a tenth of a second and then my child resorted to wearing a kneeskin in order to pass the other swimmer that earned the top spot in a training suit.

Can you please link that $50 kneeskin? I have never seen one that inexpensive.

Team suits are expensive for what they are! You pay full price plus a premium. Anybody can find a training suit for $25 any day.

Someone has a complex here. Kneeskins are about the same cost as a practice suit. This isn't a rich kid psych out, it's swimming.
