Looks like you didn’t do the reading. He said quite a lot of substance.

Name your favorite thing he said.

On an emotional level? That the protestors in Birmingham didn’t respond to their abusers with bigger dogs and more powerful firehoses.

DP. Yes, that was very moving. And the story of how John Lewis on the Edmund Pettus bridge connected to his own family, by way of one person who watched it on tv and said “let me do what I can” was incredible.

I only watched the last hour and a half, but you can grab any clip from any of the 25 hours, and he is saying something meaningful.

Booker just voted against Sander’s resolution to block arms sales to Israel. So much for fighting authoritarianism and fascism.

Medical? What does that mean? And why would you be excited about someone else’s diet?

Some of these types are gay, and some of them are way TOO straight to settle down.

Have any of your experts “typed”: Black vegans? That’s probably a difficult match on a good day. Throw in having to live a life centered in NJ and that’s seriously challenging— even before you get to personality and personal history.

New Jersey has fantastic vegan restaurants. I think it's a way to serve food Orthodox Jews will eat.
They might be the best part of New Jersey.

Good point about the vegan restaurants — pretty much everyone with food restrictions can eat vegan food. I’ll need to get more info on the NJ restaurants.

You think it’s a “joke” to show concern for hostages?

Senator Booker spoke on the environment and said, "All Americans, regardless of where you're born, we deserve safe drinking water, clean air, and an equal opportunity for a healthy and fulfilling life. President Trump promised America the cleanest air and the cleanest water, but upon entering office, he immediately instructed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to cut a long list of common sense environmental protections."

Senator Cory Booker's opening remarks, during which he quoted the late Civil Rights Leader and former US Representative John Lewis, who said, "Get in good trouble, necessary trouble. Help redeem the soul of America."Booker later shared, "I started tonight thinking about [John Lewis]. I've been thinking about him a lot during these last 71 days...I had to ask myself, if he's my hero, how am I living up to his words?"

"I think Democrats and Republicans have made a lot of mistakes. No side has a monopoly on the truth; no side has been perfect servants of this country. But what has happened in the last 71 days is a patent demonstration of a time where John Lewis's call to everyone has, I think, become more urgent and more pressing."

I rise tonight because I believe sincerely that our country is in crisis. And I believe that not in a partisan sense, because so many of the people who have been reaching out to my office, in pain, in fear, having their lives upended, so many of them identify themselves as Republicans."

"Bedrock commitments are being broken; unnecessary hardships are being borne by Americans of all backgrounds; and institutions, which are special in America...are being recklessly and, I would say, even unconstitutionally attacked and even shattered."

"These are not normal times in America. And they should not be treated as such... Generations from now will look back at this moment and have a single question — where were you?"

So, did you not listen? Or did you not understand what you heard?

Why would I prioritize listening to his 24 hour rant? Did he say anything about securing our borders?

Yes. A simple google search will take you to some of the things he said.

Also. It wasn’t a rant. Take a deep breath and find the topics you are interested in. You might just find yourself surprised.

+1. Listen, read before posting nonsense

Oh no. I just read the Personal section on wiki. Can a wiki super editor fix that? It’s both boring (so, so many words) and unflattering. Just make it a paragraph.

So you think he didn’t say anything of substance and then say you didn’t listen to any of it? I know who lacks substance here.
