Perhaps, but I’m not rooting for mutually assured destruction like many on here. I’m supportive of both efficiency and enforcing better accountability of federal employees, but this is not being executed in a methodical and rational manner.
I don’t truly wish ill upon anyone from this, but find it incredibly naive of people who think that because they aren’t personally a federal employee, that all of this is ok. Unless one is generationally wealthy, or part of a small handful of industries (maybe law, banking or medicine) there will be some cascading impacts.
Maybe that is most of this board and the perception is that those are the only truly “valuable” jobs.
